This house is quite simply huge, with well over 400 meters of living space. There are many fine features, such as the lovely reddish-brown cross beams in the large main living room (60m2) with fireplace, the high-ceilinged second floor living room, also measuring 60m2, and the terra cotta floors throughout the house. The price is excellent for such a large house, and the grounds and pool are lovely.





Although there is a rear entrance directly to the second floor, the main entrance is on the ground floor. In front of the buildings' main facade, there is a grassy esplanade with a covered BBQ area and picnic tables, a covered parking for two cars, and some old disused barns. As you enter the house, there is a small vestibule, with the staircase in front, and to your right, a door which leads to the ground floor bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower.




The top of the staircase on the first floor opens on to a magnificent salon, measuring about 70 meters square, divided into two areas, the dining room table, seating over 16, and the living room, with 2 sofas and plenty of lounge chairs, with fireplace and TV at one end. A door leads to the kitchen, with large fridge, gas stove, electric oven, extractor, microwave, toaster, expresso, kettle, electric mixer, etc.

On the other side of the salon are two rooms, one with double bed and one with two singles, and in the hallway a full bathroom.


part of the huge first-floor dining/living roomThe wide stairwell leads up to the second floor, which has another large living room (over 60m2), often used as a play room for children, with another TV, and there is a door leading to a terrace with nice views of the farm and Casserres town in the distance. A long hallway leads to the other six bedrooms, three rooms with double beds, two rooms with two single beds, and one room with one single bed. In the hallway, there is one full bathroom and one extra large bathroom with a shower as well as a separate full bath.

The rooms are all fairly spacious, with reading lamps, plenty of closet space, and a few writing desks.

The grounds surrounding the house are pretty and well kept, and there are all kinds of farm animals, and the owners even keep Royal peacocks and pheasants in large cages over by the pool. There are also four huge very good-natured German Sheppard dogs with which to delight the children. All told... quite a nice place to spend a week or two...
