These brand new apartments will no doubt be very much in demand by those who want to be within walking distance to a nice beaches and a lively resort town, but still in a quiet rural setting offering good country walks in a historical setting (see travel info on this area - the Costa Brava historic heartland).



another shot from the airThe three apartments are identical and set side by side, and done to quite a good standard of comfort, perhaps the nicest feature being the high beamed-ceilings and large bay windows which allow for a lot of sunlight. Outside of each apartment there is a teak sitting area with parasol. All the fixtures and amenities are of good quality, (nice-sized rooms, double bed measuring 2 x 1.6m, nice full bathroom, convenient kitchen - although there is no oven, only a microwave along with the stove top). Before we stayed there, I was a bit concerned that we would be able to hear our neighbors next door, but it seems as though the walls are quite thick and even though there was a family staying next door, we hardly noticed them. The owners live in the large restored 18thC farmhouse you see in the photos, and still work the surrounding fields. This is a nice place to stay year-round.

The photos you see of the new pool here show how the landscaping around the pool has yet to be finished. The landscaping will be completed by early 2005.
