Hello Charlie,

We have thought of you often as we tell people about our time in Catalonia. All of your directions and suggestions were "right on" and added a personal touch to our planning which we really appreciated.

Can Sort was wonderful! We especially enjoyed the quiet, country setting and sharing the grounds with the horses, dogs, geese, and birds - like visiting family friends. Christina - in addition to being a very good cook - was gracious about sharing her extensive knowledge of the area and telling us about places we would never have found on our own. She helped make each day special.

I can NEVER forget Can Sort now, since this is where my fiance’ proposed! Right in the dining room during dinner. The cutest little girl from Andorra was sitting at our table (with her family of course), and during the course of conversation, she asked if we were married. In Spanish, I replied, “Not yet, but you can ask him when.” Taking that queue, he pulled the ring out of his pocket, and proposed right there. Jaume played the air violin, and Christina gave us a special dessert. VERY memorable.

It was all very much as expected, or better. Definitely worth recommending.

Hello Charles!

Can Sort was amazing! We resided in beautiful rooms - it is just the way we would have built our own home! Hospitality was great too. Each and every request we had was thoughtfully treated by Christina. It was more like a home rather than hotel and I guess this is the biggest complement a guest could give J Breakfast was great too. The surrounding area is beautiful and each morning we went on a nice walk in the fields. We enjoyed both being secluded and very close to major towns.

I don't mind at all that this comment will be posted on the Internet, though I don't want to post my email address.

I would just like to say a big Thank you for arranging our stay at Can Sort.

Christina and her staff made us extremely welcome whilst we were there and the food was lovely.

The views were lovely and it was nice to wake up and look out the window and see the mountains.

We took plenty of photos so we can tell our friends and family all about it - we will definitely be recommending Can Sort to everyone we know.

We hope to visit again but before we go my partner will have to learn to horse ride !!

We had a wonderful time! The Can Sort was indeed lovely and well kept! And the surrounding area is full of interesting surprises. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. The only downside was that Christina did not take VISA, a mistake that another couple there made as well (the first time they were there). Otherwise, a perfect vacation!

Hello Charlie,

Just wanted to write and thank you for organizing our stay at Can Sort.

Cristina and Jaume offer a truly excellent bed and breakfast (and superb dinner!) and in such a wonderful location. The rooms are large (we opted for the triple in the end but there was ample space for the cot) and traditionally furnished and extremely comfortable. They also gave us indications for fantastic places to visit which have really opened our eyes to the Costa Brava. In fact we were planning on relaxing locally but ended up driving 500km in four days in our haste to take in all the hidden-away treasures of the area. Once the children were in bed, we spent our evenings in the massive lounge, playing chess in front of the fire! Next time we have promised to take horse-riding leasons and make the most of their stables.

Thanks again and we hope to contact you again for a future visit.

By the way, we rented a car from Hertz (brand new Ford Focus) and were very happy with the service. Total price was around EUR130 for four days which I thought was quite reasonable.
