We visited Mas de l'Om in August 2010.

We loved the peace and quiet of the place. The house is at the end of a long road and is surrounded by green fields, forests, mountains and cows with lovely-sounding cow bells around the necks. The air is so clean and fresh, especially for us coming from Barcelona!!

The house itself was perfect for our extended family of 10 (including 3 children under 7yrs old). The children loved the small but clean and safe green-tiled swimming pool. We sunbathed around the pool on lovely sun loungers, and particularly loved the covered balcony area with a big table for lunch which had swallows and swifts flying in and out!!

The whole house is furnished and decorated in a simple country style, clean and fresh with soft comfy beds where we slept very well thanks to the silence.

We walked a lot in the vicinity and the children loved the walk to a nearby river collecting sticks and stones and generally mucking about it the water.

We also visited the villages around which were beautiful and easy to get to by car or walking (without children).

We had one long hike to Camprodon (about 8km each way) which was fantastic and do-able with children with a big meal to sustain them in the middle.

The neighbours and people around were very friendly and even brought us over a veg basket with home grown tomatoes and onions.

We loved it, and would go back there if we had the chance.

Da wir mit unseren Familien dort diese wunderschöne Zeit verbrachten möchte ich dir vielmals danken für die Auswahl dieses schönen Haus und Anwesen.

Die Räumlichkeiten in ihrem landestypischen Flair übertrafen unsere Erwartungen. Heute noch sehnen wir uns nach unzähligen Abenden auf der Terrasse oder vor dem offenen Kamin die durch eine unbeschreibliche Atmosphäre zu langen Aufenthalten mit tiefgründigen Gesprächen einluden. Ich kann nur jedem Empfehlen mit seinen Liebsten diesen außergewöhnlichen Ort zu besuchen und die Landschaft, Ruhe und atemberaubende Umgebung auf sich wirken zu lassen. Wir würden es zu jeder zeit wieder buchen. Vielen Dank nochmals für unvergessliche Stunden.

Hello Charlie, here we are again. We stayed in Mas de L'om last summer and now we are interested in this house.

By the way, I have some feedback on Mas de l’om that you could put on your website:

This huge, authentic house was large enough to provide the 9 of us with all the space you need to be either together or on your own. Lots of comfort thanks to a large indoor kitchen and a very nice outdoor kitchen and dining area, very clean and very nice surroundings made our holidays in Mas de l’om a big success. Very nice owners by the way!

Hello Charlie,

We had a very nice stay at Mas de L'Om. The house was exactly as described: charming, very authentic, spacy, pleasant with nice clean rooms and a comfortable and well-equipped kitchen. And the pool, although indeed rather small for ten people, was a real luxury. The surroundings: wonderfully quiet and ideal for mountain walks starting from Camprodon and Setcases.

Furthermore the owner (Lourdes Cros) was very friendly and helpful and I really hope (think) we left the house without damaging anything.

This is an adress we will keep in mind and will gladly return to!!

hi - we just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at mas de l'om for our new year holiday. the house was in an amazing setting with fabulous views of the valley. we didn't even argue over who got which bedroom as they were all pretty.

we bought all our food locally from shops and markets and ate really well. the selection seemed so much fresher than we get at home.

it had snowed just before we arrived, so we were able to go sledging practically from our front door, which the children ( and grown ups) loved! It was so cold outside that it was lovely the house was so warm to come back to.

The owners were friendly and welcoming which set our week off well. On new years eve we had a bbq in the snow and danced outside 'til 4am without disturbing anyone!
