Good to hear from you again!! Thanks for all the help with booking Can Barcelo this summer and all the directions etc were spot on. We are going to America next summer but we intend to go back to Spain the year after that as we had such a fanastic time on our first visit this year.

What can I say about Can Barcelo that isn't already on the website? It has fanastic accomodation with wonderful antique furniture and tiled floors. The bathrooms were lovely and spotlessly clean, and the kitchen had a very high tech feel to it with the big cooker and cooking equipment etc. The pool was beautifully clean - well attended by Quim, and set in the lovely green garden. We all loved Duke the dog who happily padded around after the children and played ball with them. Our boys loved the exterior of the house and enjoyed lizard spotting in the tiled yard beside the house. Pilar and Quim were exceptionally hospitable and very helpful at every opportunity - they are just such nice people. It is in an excellent location for visiting either the mountains, Gerona or the coast, maybe a little close to the airport but we would definitely go back.

Thanks for your email. We had a wonderful stay at Can Barcelo and would certainly consider staying there again. The house was lovely, although a little dark, and the Pilar and her husband were very warm and hospitable. They even taught us how to make Paella, which we have made several times since returning home. You are welcome to use my name and comments on your web site and I would be happy to answer questions from potential clients via email. I am sorry that I don’t have time to write more. Overall, your services and our stay were to our satisfaction.

Just a quick email to thank you for arranging our holiday at Can Barcelo which turned out to be a fantastic stay for all of us. The farmhouse really did serve all our needs and kept a toddler of 20 months and 2 active boys of 10 and 12 entertained. It was truly an excellent location which allowed us to travel not only inland to Gerona but also the beaches and coastline. Both Pilar and Quim were excellent hosts. Please pass on our thanks again.

My fears over booking an internet holiday have finally been allayed!!!

We have just returned from our holiday in Spain, staying at Can Barcelo. We just wanted to write and say how lovely we thought it was there. The house was really comfortable with nice furniture, the surroundings were lovely, and Pilar and Joaquim really went out of their way to make our holiday there a good one (even including us in their New Year celebrations!). We would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a holiday in that region.

First of all, we were very pleased with your assistance in planning our trip. Your frequent emails answering all of our questions were most helpful, and your web site and guide book at the house were very informative. Secondly, we really enjoyed our stay at Can Barcelo — The house was comfortable, the bedrooms were charming and nicely decorated, the living room was spacious, and there was a nice feeling of privacy on the second floor. My 9 year old son got a kick out of the fact that the original feeding trough for the farm animals was part of the dining room décor! The kitchen was workable, the dining room pleasant and roomy, and the owners on the premises were very friendly and helpful. Also, the pool and grass area were pleasant, and the house was very reasonably priced...

Just a short note to let you know we had a really fantastic time at Can Barcelo in June. The house exceeded all our expectations,it was well equipped,clean,tidy & very well cared for. The owners Quim & Pilar were very pleasant & helpful but were not overbearing in any way.

Finally Charlie a big sincere thankyou to you. I'd heard a lot about American service but never experienced it. You certainly didn't let the reputation down! E-mails were always answered promptly & for a first holiday booked via the internet everything went 100% smoothly. Never again will I entertain a package holiday.
