Casadevall was a great experience - there was plenty of space for a big family and the fabulous swimming pool was equally huge. The space both inside and outside was amazing - its not often one could say that you had your own forest!

There's plenty of car parking spaces and it has its own gym - which is great if you've over-indulged! The table football gave us lots of exciting touraments and the BBQ/outdoor kitchen was to die for!

Getting us all together for meals was so important and led to both sociable dinners as well as lots of fun jumping in the pool afterwards. Whilst it is hidden away and quite remote, if this is what you are looking for then its perfect. We didn't want a lively holiday and our trips to the beach by car were infrequent - but it was not far away. We drove into Barcelona one day just for a change of scene. After 8 days nobody really wanted to leave.

A great holiday and one that my father said "was the best he's ever known" - Lord knows that's a compliment I've never heard from him before!

The house was lovely and Miquel very friendly and helpfull.

The last day we ate at the "Era de Sils" both the food and the atmosphere were superb! You can keep on recomending it!!

So we have decided to rent the villa for the same period in 2010. (31/07/10 - 07/08/10).
We have it already said to Miquel.

Is it possible to confirm this and then we can already give the deposit of 750 Euros.

Just to give our feedback on Casadevall as i believe you are interested to have it.

We have really enjoyed the house and we have had great time: the space, the # bathroom which may be a detail but very nice when you are many with lot of children, we have also really enjoyed the swimming pool, Miguel has been very nice with us.

We usually change every year of destination though ...we never know, but as long as i will have the opportunity i will recommand Casadevall with no hesitation and also your web site !!!

No problem at all except this is a busy time for me and the holiday was quite a while ago.

1) the house was spacious and kitchen well stocked with utensils etc. we used the barbeque pit on several nights.

2) the housekeeper was fantastic. He was incredibly warm and helpful, and was very kind to send my nephew’s stuffed toy to Barcelona. Could I have his address pls – or the address at Casadevell – to send him a note/

3) the surrounding area was very pleasant and good for a morning/evening walk. There was a bird watching area which we discovered on our last day.

Yes, we have past a very good week in the Miquel' house, last summer.
All was perfect and some of us should be very happy to rent it again for a new week next summer.

I told him also I have to speak with my family about that, and after I phone him back.
