An unbeatable house if you are looking for privacy and great views. Everything about this villa is absolutely first-rate.

DESCRIPTION:
This spacious 280m2 (3,000 square foot) villa was built in 1994. All of the rooms are air-conditioned and heated. The villa is situated on a hillside amidst a pine grove in a private residential area outside Blanes. Residents may use the clubhouse and facilities, such as the Olympic-sized pool, the tennis courts, and the restaurant overlooking the beach. The beach, Cala San Francisco, is one of the quietest and most secluded of the Costa Brava.

the villa's private pool - what a view!All rooms in the house have sea views, double-glazed windows with screens, and the entire house is tastefully decorated with quality furnishings, mostly antiques, including some pieces you would never expect to find in a rental property. As the house is built on a hillside, all floors have entrances, and are connected indoors by a spiral wood and wrought-iron staircase.

LAYOUT:
Ground floor: a garage for two cars.

First floor: The pool area on the first floor is backed by a 50m2 studio apartment with living/dining room, kitchenette, fireplace, and bathroom. A 30'x15' tiled swimming pool offers unobstructed views of this lovely part of the Mediterranean Sea. The gas powered "Char Broil" barbecue is adjacent the grass and flower-lined pool deck. There are several outdoor sitting and dining areas.


main entrance to villaSecond floor: This level has two bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and Satellite TV, and the other with a double bed. Both bedrooms have full bathrooms. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with every imaginable appliance and gadget. The living room and dining room are fully furnished with beautiful antiques plus a fireplace, a 32" TV with Satellite and vidio, a small hi-fi with plenty of CDs to choose from, and a cordless phone with message capabilities. In addition, there is a 20'x 20'foot tiled outdoor terrace with an electrically operated shade awning.

Third floor: A gracious Master Suite - with a king sized bed, fireplace, large TV with Satellite, a full bathroom with sunken tub and jacuzzi jets, a separate shower stall, a toilet and bidet stall, two sinks, all clad in attractive marble. There is an antique writing desk and a large sofa, making more like a little apartment of its own, and the entire length of the 60m2 room is glassed in with sliding doors opening onto a large tiled terrace overlooking the Mediterranean and the pool below.

Upon arrival, you will be greated at Barcelona airport by the local Manager (from November to May) or by the Owner (from May to October) - both speak English. For your leisure time, there are green zones, two tennis courts, a social club with Olympic size pool, a bar and restaurant - all within walking distance of the sandy beach at Cala San Francisco.

Quality linens and towels are provided for your comfort (including beach towels during summer season). Start-up supplies of household items such as bottled water, cooking spices, bath gel, tissue paper, etc. are provided.

The villa is rented clean, but if you wish to have additional cleaning help, the maid charges $10 per hour.
