A couple of properties near Barcelona city center

Many of you have rented apartments from me (from this website) in the past. I am happy to say that I have given up the Barcelona apartment rental racket! but I still offer these two nice villas within half an hour from city center, by car or commuter train.

  • prices include all utilities, taxes, sheets and towels, cleaning charges, etc.
  • there are no extra or hidden costs of any kind
  • owners require a deposit of 25% of total rental fee to secure the booking
  • be sure to read the Comments from Past Visitors - a link in each house listing
  • in mid and high-season, rentals minimum one week, usually from Saturday to Saturday
  • high-season 2009 is from June 20 to August 31
  • mid-season is May 22 to June 20, September, Easter, and Christmas
  • low-season prices for weekday to weekday bookings, not taking up 2 weekends

Ref. BCN 100 - Casa Aloe

up to 9 guests in 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms this is one of the few newly constructed houses we offer, but when I saw it, I couldn´t resist. Since adding Casa Aloe to our listings in 2002, it has consistently been one of our most successful properties, breaking all records for occupancy. Ref. BCN 200 - Casa Sant Juan

sleeps 17 or so in two different houses on the same large property, never rented separately, with 9 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms (2 of these outdoors).  Set on a large private 35 hectaire fenced property under pines, 30 kms north of Barcelona, 12 kms inland from the beaches around Mataro.  The larger 5 bedroom house (225m2) is brand new and quite elegant, all air conditioned and with quality furnishings, while the other 4 bedroom house (100m2) is rather simple, and I have been offering this older house for years now, so the owners have a proven track record.  Each house has its own outdoor BBQ dining area, and there is a nice 10x6 meter swimming pool.  Highly recommended, for small and larger groups alike, who wish to be in a nice quiet location, but not far from Barcelona and the sea.

Sat to Sat rentals in high-season, 2009 rental rates, low: 1500, mid: 2250, high-season: 3000 Euros/week, for both houses (they are never rented separately). Weekend rates: 900 Euros plus 250 Euros extra night.
